Emergency medicine is the only field of medicine that requires the participation of a “complete lifesaving team.” It starts with the 911 dispatchers and continues on with the knowledge base of EMTs, paramedics, emergency nurses, emergency physicians and trauma specialists.
As the best practices of emergency medicine continue to evolve, the EMLRC plays a major role in educating the entire emergency team. As one of the nation’s select accredited educational centers, the EMLRC partners closely with individuals, businesses, governments and universities to develop and deliver lifesaving medical education.
To meet the growing needs of the 21st century and to make valuable lifesaving skills accessible to everyone, the EMLRC requests your support in developing a world-class educational center. By providing your support through generous donations, pledges and contributions, the EMLRC will be able to continue to provide top-notch educational programs at its new facility.
There are many ways that you can help support the Emergency Medicine Learning and Resource Center and the Florida College of Emergency Physicians.
Join our Center Campaign, which strives to help raise money to ensure there will always be a home for the Florida College of Emergency Physicians and the Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation.
We also offer sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities for our annual educational programs, which allow us to provide well-needed information about the changing emergency medicine field. Through the help of various sponspors, exhibitor and grant funding, we are able to provide exceptional educational opportunities to EM professionals throughout the state of Florida.
The Florida College of Emergency Physicians’ Political Action Committees (PAC) works hard as an active force in Tallahassee to bring to the attention of legislators important issues in emergency medicine. Donating to FCEP’s PAC allows these committees to continue their state advocacy efforts in advancing emergency medicine and improving access to emergency care.
