About: Drugs of abuse occasionally contain substances in addition to that of the primary drug. These adulterants come with their own risks independent of the illicit substance with which they are combined. This program will review potential reasons behind the inclusion of adulterants in illicit substances, as well as how toxicities of selected adulterants may be approached.

EMLRC & FCEP’s Street Drugs in the Sunshine State – What you Need to Know project is a continuation of our Street Drugs Webinar Series and will focus on updates and emerging trends in the area of opioid and synthetic drug use.
