Established in 1990 by The Florida College of Emergency Physicians, the Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center (EMLRC) is a non-profit organization “advancing emergency care through advocacy and education”.
We are proud to serve our emergency physicians, nurses and first responders throughout the state of Florida by continually delivering quality education and lifesaving training techniques.
We have built a solid foundation of partnerships and long-standing relationships with agencies and organizations throughout the state of Florida. Their support from grants and contributions have allowed us to build programs and deliver in-situ, simulation-based training and other training and education courses to thousands of first responders and EMS Personnel all over the state of Florida.
We have a great number of Emergency Physicians, Nurses, EMT’s and Paramedics who have contributed to our success through their commitment and passion for EMS by volunteering throughout the year on various committees as well as delivering educational content at our events.
The Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center provides continuing education to over 5,000 of the nation’s emergency care providers each year. EMLRC is accredited by the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of EMS; Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS); Florida Board of Nursing and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for paramedics, EMTs, nurses and physicians.
