Life Saving Education For Lifesavers!

About FEMF

The Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation (FEMF) prepares Florida and the nation for both emergencies and natural or intentional disasters by educating and training emergency medical providers.   This “team” of providers includes 911 dispatchers, paramedics/EMTs, nurses, physicians and other individuals involved in clinical and administrative roles of patient care.

Since 1990, FEMF, the sister organization to Florida College of Emergency Physicians (FCEP), has provided critical life-saving education to more than 50 percent of Florida’s EMS agencies and Fire Departments and to more than 50 percent of emergency physicians in Florida.

Making an investment today in FEMF will ensure that you, your loved ones and all of Florida’s citizens and visitors continue to receive cutting-edge, emergency pre-hospital and emergency care.

Together FEMF and FCEP advocate for patient care – access to emergency care, and continuing care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.   Your contribution will help continue our advocacy efforts because you will be supporting our on-going educational and training activities that use state-of-the-art life-saving techniques.

The FEMF program agenda is impressive and includes:

  • Clinical Conference on Pre-hospital Emergency Care – ClinCon. Conducted for more than 35 years for all EMS providers
  • ABCs of Pediatric EMS – Educates paramedic/EMTs on the unique needs of children
  • Senior Falls Prevention – Addresses the senior population and the significant incidence of falls/and falls prevention
