Emergency Medicine Learning and Resource Center's Director/COO
Named National Legend in EMS Education

ORLANDO, FL -- September 23, 2009 -- The Emergency Medicine Learning and Resource Center is pleased to announce that during the National Association of EMS Educators 14th Annual Educational Symposium held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World, Florida the EMLRC’s Director/Chief Operating Officer
John Todaro was honored as one of the first recipients of the NAEMSE Legends Who Walk Among Us award.

The EMLRC’s Director/COO is honored to be named with David Page from Minnesota and Dr. Keith Wesley from Wisconsin as one of the three inaugural recipients of this prestigious award.

NAEMSE (http://www.naemse.org/hero/) explains the concept behind this prestigious award as “Legends That Walk Among Us: A strong belief is held that the EMS community needs to honor those men and women who have helped shape EMS education nationally. This award allows us to thank those individuals who have, and who continue to, mentor us, motivate us, and inspire us through their commitments
to EMS education.”

The Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center (EMLRC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and advancing emergency medicine, disaster management, pre-hospital emergency care and public health through the provision of educational and research programs.
