in EMS EducationORLANDO, FL
-- September 23, 2009 -- The Emergency Medicine Learning and
Resource Center is pleased to announce that during the National
Association of EMS Educators 14th Annual Educational Symposium held
at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World, Florida
the EMLRC’s Director/Chief Operating Officer John Todaro was
honored as one of the first recipients of the
NAEMSE Legends Who Walk Among Us award.
The EMLRC’s
Director/COO is honored to be named with David Page from Minnesota
and Dr. Keith Wesley from Wisconsin as one of the three inaugural
recipients of this prestigious award.

explains the concept behind this prestigious award as “Legends That
Walk Among Us: A strong belief is held that the EMS community needs
to honor those men and women who have helped shape EMS education
nationally. This award allows us to thank those individuals who

through their commitments to EMS education.”
The Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource
Center (EMLRC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting
and advancing emergency medicine, disaster management, pre-hospital
emergency care and public health through the provision of
