On October 13, 2008 Bryan E. Bledsoe, DO, FACEP, a frequent
faculty member for the EMLRC’s Clinical Conference on Prehospital
Emergency Care Conference (ClinCon) was named a “Hero of Emergency
Medicine” by the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Bryan Bledsoe, DO, FACEP, is an emergency physician in the
Department of Emergency Medicine at University Medical Center of
Southern Nevada and a clinical professor of emergency medicine at
the University of Nevada School Of Medicine.
Dr. Bledsoe is the acclaimed author of Brady Publishing’s
best-selling “Paramedic Care Principles and Practices” textbook
series. He has had a hand in educating thousands of EMTs and
paramedics for more than 20 years and is a very popular speaker at
national/ regional EMS conferences as well as a featured columnist
for several national EMS professional journals. He is a former EMT
and Paramedic, Paramedic Instructor and program coordinator. He has
served as a Medical Director for 2 emergency departments and 15 EMS
services throughout Texas. He currently serves as the co-chair for
the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
