The Emergency
Medicine Learning & Resource Center Announces Joint Initiative to
Improve Quality of Medical Training ORLANDO, FL --

-- The Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center (EMLRC)
is pleased to announce a joint initiative with Laerdal Medical
Corporation to provide Continuing Education credit for those
participating in Laerdal’s Course 100 – Simulator Assembly and
Programming. The course is designed to increase a user’s ability to
effectively operate patient simulators such as Laerdal® SimMan® and
Laerdal® SimBaby™.
Twelve hours of continuing education credit will
be given to Nurses and Paramedics attending the course; physician
credit is pending. Courses can be taken at the Wappingers Falls, New
York or Gatesville, Texas facilities.

LaCombe says, “Laerdal’s partnership with the EMLRC is a testament
to our continued desire to meet high customer expectations. The
course was reviewed by a prestigious educational provider and proved
to be rich in content and performance based. This is a strong
endorsement of our training program.”
The EMLRC is a non-profit organization based in Orlando, Florida.
Laerdal and the EMLRC have worked together to coordinate the Bill
Shearer International Advanced and Basic Life Support Competition
held during ClinCon – the annual Clinical Conference for
Pre-Hospital Emergency Care held every July.
