Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center Board of Directors member achieves Board Certification as a Health Care Attorney

Orlando, FL -- July 5, 2004 -- Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center Board of Directors member Michael R. Lowe, Esq. has achieved Board Certification as a Health Care Attorney effective August 1, 2004.

Michael Lowe, Esq. is a partner with Ruden and McCloskey within their health care group where his practice focuses on all aspects of business, corporate, transactional, regulatory, operational and administrative matters in the health care law arena. He represents physician practices, hospital medical staffs, hospitals, EMS systems, and other health care entities.

Michael received his B.S. degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and his M.A. degree in National Security Studies from Georgetown University. He earned his J.D. Degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Michael frequently lectures on HIPPA privacy regulation issues, managed care contracting, and legal issues in EMS/health care.

The Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center (EMLRC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and advancing emergency medicine, disaster management, prehospital emergency care and public health through the provision of educational and research programs.
