Support EMLRC’s Center Campaign to ensure that lifesaving educational programs continue to make an impact on families and their loved ones. Your support will provide a home for the Florida College of Emergency Physicians and the Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation.
By contributing to EMLRC’s Center Campaign, you will allow us to grow our new facility to be able to provide programs at our new center like:
• Conferences for emergency physicians, nurses, firefighters, paramedics and EMTs
• Educational courses and annual certification programs
• Research through “think-tank” activities that enhance advanced instructional curriculum
• Museum reflecting the evolution and progress of emergency medicine since its official inception in Roanoke, Virginia when Julian Stanley Wise and nine other men founded the first independent volunteer rescue squad.

The Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation along with the Florida College of Emergency Physicians is honored to announce the establishment of the Dr. Sal Silvestri EMS Research Fund. Funds will be distributed through a formal research grant application process.
For over 35 years Dr. Silvestri dedicated his life to his family and to his passion for emergency medicine education and research. His extended family in our emergency medicine community locally, statewide and nationally always regarded him as one of the most advanced physician leaders in working with the entire team of emergency medicine professionals.
A committee is being formed by FEMF and FCEP leaders that will be comprised of experts in EMS research to serve as the reviewers for grant recipient(s).
