Clinical Programs Coordinator

Simulation Education
The Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center (EMLRC) located in
Orlando, Florida a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting
public health through the advancement of Emergency Medicine,
Disaster Management and Prehospital Emergency Care through the
provision of educational and research programs is currently
accepting CV’s for the position of Simulation & Clinical Programs
Coordinator.
The EMLRC Simulation & Clinical Programs Coordinator is responsible
for implementation and coordination of a variety of activities
essential to the operation of the EMLRC’s mobile simulation
laboratory and continuing educational programs.
Qualifications:
Required:
1. Current Florida Paramedic certification (Nationally Registry
Paramedics must obtain Florida certification within 60 days of
employment.)
2. Associates Degree in EMS or other healthcare/emergency services
related field
3. Five years EMS experience with an ALS agency
4. Three years EMS teaching experience
5. Experience with human patient simulation education and equipment
6. Current instructor certificates in ACLS, ITLS or PHTLS and PALS
or PEPP (may be obtained within 1 year of employment at employee’s
expense)
7. Current Class B Florida Drivers License with an airbrake
endorsement (may be obtained within 60 days of employment)
8. Clean driving record
Desired:
1. Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (maybe obtained
within 60 days of employment)
2. Bachelor’s Degree in EMS or other healthcare/emergency services
related field.
The EMLRC offers a comprehensive
salary and benefits package. The EMLRC Simulation & Clinical
Programs Coordinator position requires extensive travel.
